MESSAGE NOTES: Fast Forward #3

03: WALKING THROUGH THE OPEN DOORS

Revelation 3:8 (ESV) – I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Prophet Yul Crawford: 2020 is the Year of the Open Door

  • We started this fast talking about HOLY AMBITION – is to carry a passion for the purposes of God in your generation. It’s the desire to want to do something great for God. It’s the passion to do what you were born to do.
  • We have been believing God to speak about destiny, purpose, and calling
  • Many of us have heard things already… some perhaps not. Either way – expect God to continue to speak to you as we go forward.

General Booth’s Vision of the Lost

On Sunday at Toronto City Church as part of my message I read a large portion of General William Booth’s (Founder of the Salvation Army) “Vision of the Lost”. You can find it all over the internet but I still wanted to share it here. I believe it is a powerful picture and reminder of the importance of having a heart for people to come to know Jesus, and being prepared to do something about it:

On one of my recent journeys, as I gazed from the coach window, I was led into a train of thought concerning the condition of the multitudes around me. They were living carelessly in the most open and shameless rebellion against God, without a thought for their eternal welfare. As I looked out of the window, I seemed to see them all . . . millions of people all around me given up to their drink and their pleasure, their dancing and their music, their business and their anxieties, their politics and their troubles. Ignorant – willfully ignorant in many cases – and in other instances knowing all about the truth and not caring at all. But all of them, the whole mass of them, sweeping on and up in their blasphemies and devilries to the Throne of God. While my mind was thus engaged, I had a vision. Continue reading →
